What are the Typo Mistakes? And Why to Avoid Them?

If you are directly typing the URL of your bank’s website in the address bar of your web browser. Then you should make sure that you don’t make any typo mistakes. Whenever you miss a letter or type in an extra letter that is called a typo mistake.

In this case, you will be taken to another website and not to your bank’s original website. It will be also a phishing website. So you should always make sure and should be double conscious in case you are directly typing the URL.

An Example of a typo mistake, your bank’s website is www.example.com but you have typed exmple.com. Here the letter “a” is missed.  You might think it is just a letter. But the browser might take you to an unofficial website which might be posing as the official website of the bank. This is how phishing websites work.
